Attendees may use the green Submit a ? to pose questions on any Oral or Poster. Authors of Orals or Posters may access these questions and answer them in the special moderator portal. Once an author 'publishes' answers they become visible to attendees in the planner and app.
Follow the instructions below to answer and publish answers to questions about your presentations. Click any of the images below to view full size.
Using Chrome, access the Q&A Portal MODERATOR (author) Portal: ativ.me/qa2
This is for authors wishing to answer (publish answer) questions submitted via app or planner for their oral or poster.
Enter the log in information exactly as it appears below. These credentials are for ALL authors to use to access the portal:
You will see the screen below. Select ASMS20
Locate Your Poster or Oral on the Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday. Presentations are listed in chronological program order for each day. AM Oral codes appear first, then Poster codes, followed by PM oral codes. From the list view (shown below) you will see numbers indicating questions. If you have questions, select your presentation to provide the answers.
In the Answer page for your presentation. Select the 'Answer' button to provide your answer. You may also provide a hyperlink in your answer.
After you have answered the question you will see 'Publish Answer' button. Click this to share your answer in the Q&A portal for your presentation.
You will also see two Email buttons. These allow you to email to yourself or someone else your questions (fill-in email field displays) or you can email yourself or someone all of your questions & answers (again, fill-in email field displays.
The Refresh button repopulates this screen with any questions that have come in while you are on this page.
You will also see the Enable sessions toggle. We suggest you leave this in the ON position. Turning to OFF disables attendee ability to submit questions for your Poster or Oral.
