JASMS Introduces New Associate Editor

We welcome Dr. Lingjun Li to JASMS as a new Associate Editor. Lingjun is a Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor and Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her B.E. degree in Environmental Analytical Chemistry from Beijing University of Technology and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.      She has been recognized with numerous awards, including the 2014 ASMS Biemann Medal. Dr. Li has been active with the Chinese American Society for Mass Spectrometry (CASMS), serving as President and a member of the Executive Team. Her group develops novel MS-based tools, including new chemical labeling strategies for quantitative proteomics, microscale separations, in vivo microdialysis, imaging MS for functional discovery of signaling peptides and metabolites, and the application of these tools to biomarker discovery in neurological diseases. She is a co-organizer of the 2017 ASMS Sanibel Conference on “Peptidomics: Bridging the Gap between Proteomics and Metabolomics by Mass Spectrometry.”
