Dear LC-MS & Related Topics Interest Group,
• Would more training on instrument maintenance be beneficial to reduce the incidence of expensive repairs?
• Do you spend hours optimizing instrument conditions to get the best sensitivity?
• Do you seek feedback from colleagues on how to best troubleshoot poor efficiency in an LC-MS run?
• Perhaps you are the expert that has a lot to offer the community with respect to how you have addressed one or more of these areas.
“Hot Topics in LC-MS Instrumentation Troubleshooting,” the conference workshop organized by the LC-MS & Related Topics Interest Group, will seek to address your most pressing questions related to instrument troubleshooting and repair. Please take 5-10 minutes to complete the online survey to help us define the topics of conversation.

Responses will be collected until March 15, at which point the best topics will be collated and a panel assembled to address them. Please plan to attend the workshop and contribute your expertise to the discussion!
In addition, we are excited to begin the interest group meeting this year with two to three short original research presentations from students who would not otherwise have an oral presentation at ASMS.
