Hydrogen Exchange and Covalent Labeling

Group Coordinator: David Schriemer, (University of Calgary)

Coordinator contact

This group is concerned with investigating biomolecules with mass spectrometry. By modifying the intrinsic mass of proteins or nucleic acids with selective labels, information about conformation, dynamics, binding and other aspects of these biomolecules can be obtained. The techniques most often highlighted include hydrogen/deuterium exchange, hydroxyl radical labeling and covalent labeling methods.

For detailed information about this group, please visit the group website at: www.hxms.com/asms.
