Sanibel Conference Accommodations & Travel

Accommodations. Reservations for hotel rooms at the TradeWinds Island Grand Hotel can be made online at www.justletgo.com/asms or by calling (800) 808-9833. If rooms at the Tradewinds are sold out there are other hotels within walking distance. The Tradewinds is located at 5500 Gulf Boulevard, St. Pete Beach, Florida 33706.

Location. The TradeWinds Island Resort consists of two hotels that are side-by-side, the TradeWinds Island Grand Hotel and the Sandpiper Hotel and Suites. The rooms and program space for the Sanibel Conference are at the TradeWinds Island Grand Hotel. The TradeWinds Island Grand Hotel is located at 5500 Gulf Boulevard, St. Pete Beach, Florida 33706 Telephone 727-367-6461.

Travel.
The Tampa International Airport, TPA (main airport) and St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport are both about 28 miles away and approximately a 30 minute drive to the hotel. A taxi will cost about $70 one way from either airport. SuperShuttle will cost $28.00 one way or $53.00 roundtrip from the Tampa Airport. Be sure to make a reservation to help avoid waiting at the airport, SuperShuttle reservations can be made at www.supershuttle.com or call 800 BLUE VAN (800-258-3826).
